Association „Future and Protection for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities“ was created in 2003 as a organization with non- business designation for relief and creating of optimum living conditions for people with intellectual disabilities and their families- creating of conditions for their social integration, learning of social, living and creative abilities, satisfaction of social needs, changing the attitude of society to people with intellectual disabilities. In 2003 the Association opened Family Consulting Centre. Its services was used from about 150 families that can get free consultations and mediation for different problems. From 2003 the Association has been a member of Bulgarian Association for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (BAPID). Organization have a licence for social services for children and adults. In its job Association has for partners non-governmental organization (NGO) from EU and Gabrovo Manicipality. Through the Association are realizing projects for activities in Relief School “Nikolay Palauzov”, Gabrovo. |
